For this hojicha latte, we used tea infused syrup made with hojicha powder. Please check out the recipe here.
Ingredients / Tools
1 ½ tsp hojicha powder
1 tbsp hot water
¾ cup hot milk or almond milk
2 tsp of hojicha powder-infused syrup (optional, if you like it sweet!)
A milk frother
A mug that can hold at least 1 ¼ cup of milk or larger
Instructions
1. Sift the hojicha powder into your mug. Add water and mix them well. Add hojicha powder syrup at this stage if you’d like to.
2. Add the hot milk. Without turning on the frother, use it to manually mix the ingredients by moving the frother back and forth.
3. Submerge the head of the frother about halfway into the mix. Turn on the frother and voila! Perfect foam for a perfect latte. Enjoy!
