Beer lovers, spice up your brew with something new! For a Super Bowl party or just hanging out with friends, we put on our mad scientist goggles and made hojicha-infused beer. The hojicha gives it a sweet acacia taste that naturally develops during the tea roasting process.
To make:
1. Brew strong hojicha tea with the ratio of 1 Tbsp of loose leaf hojicha in 4 oz of water. Steep until the tea reaches a dark color. (Tip: When you make a bigger batch, steep the tea overnight.)
2. Freeze the dark tea in a cube mold, then add the tea cubes to your beer for our very own "beer on the hojicha rocks"!
